Warwick Castle, one of England's most romantically
sited fortifications, was built in the 14th century to show off the wealth and
might of the Earl of Warwick who played a leading role in the wars of the roses.
Madame Tussauds now owns the castle and has mounted waxwork tableaux in the
dungeons and state rooms to illustrate the castle's history.
